the 12in. brass dial with central cartouche signed Richard Vincent over a date aperture and beneath a subsidiary seconds dial, the silvered chapter ring signed for W.Speakman, the hood inlaid with flowers, the trunk with door inlaid with flowers and birds with seaweed marquetry borders,

Condition:
Overall in slightly neglected condition, the hood has a broken top finial and losses to the base of the back right column. Movement with later anchor escapement, dial heavily oxidised, trunk door with the bordering timbers coming loose although the loose piece is still retained and some horizontal cracks at the top and bottom, small piece of marquetry missing near the lenticle, standing on later feet
