Lot 544 , An Edwardian ladies fine cream wool coat with embroidered cuffs front edging and collar and ornate corded tasselling,
An Edwardian ladies fine cream wool coat with embroidered cuffs front edging and collar and ornate corded tasselling, label for 'Swan & Edgar Ltd, Regent Street, by appointment to the Royal family', 118cm long
Estimate £100-150
This coat was possibly designed for a short lady, not to touch the ground. The coat is a ladies coat, not a childs. It is approx. 124-125cms long. There are a few very small moth holes, mostly at the back, and some dirty marks around the coat which may sponge off. The cream wool has slightly discoloured around the top of the coat. There is no lining to the coat. The green velvet collar at the back has split along a seam, but generally this item is in good condition and not tender.
