A 19th century mahogany travelling apothecary chest, a walnut writing slope and an oak document box, the chest with rising top and recessed brass handles, opening to reveal a fitted interior with five short drawers and compartments over one long drawer (retains original glass mixing plate, glass pestle and a few small glass medicine bottles and stoppers, pill boxes etc., but has been latterly used as an artist's paint box)
