A pair of large Meissen style porcelain bowls and covers, late 19th century, possibly Potschappel, painted to each side with scenes of figures dancing and drinking in 18th century dress, and floral sprigs, pseudo underglazed blue crossed swords and asterisk marks, 34cm high 29cm diameter

Both have some slight wear to the gilding on the rims, one of the bowls has two small splinter chips to the edge of the rim one which has been touched in, typical minor glaze imperfections otherwise in good condition with no restoration or cracks,
