General small scuffs and scratches all over. Later shepherds castors. All drawer fronts, the fall and the top are slightly bowed. Some replacement veneers and losses to stiles and rails. Shrinkage to oak drawer bases with some fillets of wood added to open joins. Handles and escutcheons and locks original to drawers. Lock, hinges and leather inset to fall are later. It is possible is a period replacement. This bureau has a long to drawer and a sliding well inside which appears to be original. Later bracket feet. Top is warped.
