A tall Chinese soapstone figure of Shou Lao, Kangxi period, the figure carved in a pink soapstone holding a gilt peach in his left hand and a staff suspended with a basket of fruit in his left, on a rockwork base, remnants of polychrome decoration, 29.5cm high

Wear to the polychrome decoration all over, natural imperfections in the stone, tiny filled chip to his left sleeve, a section at the bottom of his right sleeve looks to have been restored, otherwise in reasonable condition.
