An unusual Chinese famille rose small jardiniere, Qianlong period, painted with peonies and other flowers, insects and floral sprays, underglaze blue double circle to base, 11cm high, 12cm diameter

Provenance - UK private collection, gifted to the vendor's late mother by her aunt before 1970.

There is a fine star crack to the base of the jardiniere which does not appear on the interior so is probably just in the glaze on the underside, there is typical minor scratches to the glaze all over, otherwise in good condition.
