The edges of the pages have some tears, creasing and dog earing to them and some occasional small areas of staining and spotting, the pith paper is laid on a sheet of rice paper: two pages has been cellotaped on the back to some tears and the boards to the album the hinge is broken, the silk cover is freyed and loose in place showing the cardboard underneath on the edges and corners.
