Yes there is a telescope in the case, there is also an attachment (extension) in another part of the case.
Case generally a bit battered with several scratches and scuffs. Some stitching broken on one of the loops leaving it half detached. Brass scope is dinged and scratched in quite a few places.
Optics are good.
