A George V Arts & Crafts planished silver, enamel and mother of pearl set shallow bowl, embossed with the motto "Sieze the day, trust as little as possible in tomorrow" in latin, with three enamelled ovals in between, on three ball feet, maker probably Louis Dettmer trading as Calipe, Dettmar & Co, London, 1912, 8.5in, gross 15 oz.

The three ball feet have been pushed into the main body slightly and there are two gauge marks to the silver by one of the feet which is visible from both sides. One of the enamelled ovals has visible damage/loss to the enamel. The enamel is all present within the remaining two panels however there are some visible hairline cracks within some of the smaller panels. Would benefit from a good clean. Hallmarks clear.
