A late 19th century North West Persian Ziegler carpet, with field of trees and geometric motifs, on and ivory ground, with five row border (a.f.), 13ft 5in by 10ft 8in.

There are 4 repairs to the central area of the carpet and there is an 8 inch tear also. Generally very worn condition, with many areas of visible wear mainly to the centre and around the border. Colours still quite vibrant but some fading has occurred. Quite poor condition.
