A 19th century Swiss Nicole Freres marquetry inlaid music box, with eight airs, signed, 17.5in.

Top of box has light surface scratching, very slight bowing and a little of stringing missing from the sides, in need of repolish as are the sides which show light scratching and minor dents as expected with age. Movement not operating and comes with a bag of loose parts. Nicole Freres stamp on back plate, comb has lost 2 teeth. Play list has tear which has been repaired with old cellotape. Key wind movement lacking 2 metal bosses to front of box. Overall in need of fairly extensive restoration.
