A Chinese cinnabar lacquer vase and a similar rectangular box and cover, both decorated with figures in relief, 35cm and 9cm

The vase has a slightly uneven rim where it has been dented, there are a few losses to the cinnabar lacquer on the shoulder and near the base with a later repair in red coloured wax which isn't particularly well done, the box has been broken and messily re-stuck.
