This is an adaption of the Ares Borghese now in the Louvre, there is some weathering to the marble of the bust and column, the bust has been jacked up approx. 0.25 inch on wood blocks as the metal rod wont sit properly in the hole of the socle, a few minor scuffs and small chips, attractive looking piece.
