A late 19th century French 950 standard silver gilt six piece tea and coffee service by A. Risler & Carre, Paris, with import marks for R & S Garrard & Co, London, 1899, of spiral fluted baluster form, with ornate vacant cartouche and foliate finials, comprising a teapot, coffee pot, cream jug, sugar bowl lidded sucrier and urn with burner, urn, 18in, gross weight 174.5 oz.

Urn with burner- There is a slight dent to the side of the dish which holds the burner, so the burner doesn't quite fit in the recess. and one of the feet is very slightly off centre ( doesnt sit flush with the ground). The spigot is wooden and off shell form. Overall condition is otherwise good. Hallmarks clear.
Sugar bowl- Good condition. Clear hallmarks.
Cream jug- Good condition. Hallmarks clear.
Sucrier- Good condition. Hallmarks clear.
Ho water jug- Good condition. Hallmarks clear.
Teapot- There is a small dent/ding to the side of the body near the base, otherwise in good condition. Hallmarks clear.
