A pair of Meissen figures of fauns, 19th century, the first playing the bagpipes on a rocky outcrop, the second holding a tambourine seated against a tree stump, underglaze blue crossed swords marks and incised model no's. D46 and D49, slight restorations

Figure playing bagpipes has a loss to one of the pipes and high quality restoration to the right hand and two pipes and one of the leaves of the rushes.
Second figure with tambourine has high quality restoration to her right hand, the tied knot of hair at the back of her head, her right leg has been restored around the centre but has been subsequently broken and the crack can be seen where it has been restuck and there is much restoration to the rushes on the stump base.
