A Victorian gold painted gilt gesso overmantel mirror, W.5ft

This is an old mirror that has seen restoration and repair over the years, both lower corners have some cracking in the scrollwork, the lower left corner has the tip of a leaf missing, the remainder of the frame looks intact, painted with a fairly thick and heavy gold paint, plate equally is original but with some scattered oxidisation of the silvering, notable principally in the lower right corner and just to the right at 12 o'clock.
