A Martin Brothers stoneware ovoid vase, c.1883, incised with lilies on a swirling sgraffito ground, predominantly in white, green and brown enamels on a graduated brown to buff ground, incised marks 'RM Martin Bros London & Southall / 5-1883', 18cm

There is a star crack to one side of the body, with one crack running diagonally in line with a green leaf approx 15cm, the other running at a 180 degree angle to this approx. 10cm, the cracks can only be seen on very close examination otherwise good condition.
