Estimate £800-1,200
Oil on wooden board using the orange brown tone of the board to provide the background colour, notably the majority of the street, the column on the right and above the arch, possibly a little dirty so may benefit from a clean but no other faults noted, signed lower right, under glass in the original ornate gilt scroll frame which is in good order but for a few find cracks, label verso for Aitken Dott & Son of Edinburgh giving the title along with two other hand inscribed labels with the same title, the paper at the back looks original suggesting that this work has never been out of the frame, overall very good condition.
