A Chinese burrwood scholar's cabinet, 19th century, with brass mounted corners to the cover, hinges, lock plate and handles, the domed hinged cover with inner tray above a pair of panelled doors enclosing an arrangement of five drawers, some with tielimu linings, 30cm high x 31.4cm wide x 23cm deep, restored

Condition:
The cabinet appears to have been re-polished at some stage. The drawer linings are a mixture of tielimu, huanghuali and soft wood. The pair of cupboard doors are slightly sprung forward when the lid is lifted, otherwise in good condition.
