Oil on original canvas in untouched condition, canvas tight but with some creasing particularly top left corner, paint a little dirty with some fine but stable craquelure, a small patch near 6 o'clock repairing a short tear just through the rower in the boat, clearly visible from behind as a small black patch, not framed.
