A pair of early 19th century silver, foil backed quartz and flat cut diamond set articulated drop earrings, the quartz of a pink hue, overall 68mm, in a Harvey & Gore box.

Condition:
NOT TOPAZ but foil backed quartz. Closed back settings. Settings quite worn. Some of the flat cut stones are damaged. Settings very tarnished. One of the larger quartz stones has a large chip and all the quartz stone exhibit minor wear and scratches to the table facet. The fitting are a wire loop with no attachments. Overall length is 68mm. Gross weight 15.8 grams. Diamond weight, colour and clarity unknown. Stones are in a rub over setting so cannot gauge the size and the stones are very dark in appearance, so no way of assessing colour and clarity.
