Provenance; from the artists' studio.
David Smith was born in Lowestoft and exhibited around the world. He wrote several books and travelled as an artist on the QEII, with the British Antarctic Survey and painted the lighthouses for Trinity House.

Condition:
Good untouched condition, slight undulation of paper so thought not to be laid down, one or two tiny dirt / smudge marks, plain card mount and glazed plain frame, Bankside Gallery Exhibition label verso with title 'Burgh Castle'.
