Benjamin Reed of Plymouth. A George III pearwood bracket clock in plain arched case with foliate scroll engraved silvered dial with subsidiary date at the top, twin fusee eight day movement with anchor escapement and scroll engraved signed backplate, 32cm wide, 21cm deep, 44cm high

Condition:
Looks to be in good condition probably having been restored some years ago, case is still of a rich mid brown tone, brass work slightly matted with some oxidisation spots, dial looks to have been cleaned relatively recently, front door has a working key for the lock, signs of old small repairs to the veneers at the sides, still with some old cracking showing, similarly the case to the back door which is a little loose on its top hinge but does have a working key, movement looks complete but not tested for timekeeping, comes with probably a replacement pendulum and later key.
