Condition:
The chronometer movement is going at the time of cataloguing, however no guarantee is given regarding the need for servicing, etc. and it is not tested for timekeeping. There is minor wear to the brass retaining ring, including some discolouration to all the brass elements on the case and other fittings. The case has some minor wear, surface scratches and minor cracks in the veneer on the lid. The lock is functioning and the key is present. A section of the ivory maker’s disc is broken and missing around the screw and the disc has warped slightly. Otherwise generally good condition.
