Two silver carinated cups, one fragmentary, Roman or Gandhara, c. late 1st century BC - early 1st century A.D. the plain upper portion waisted above a fluted ovoid bowl, with three parallel lines incised on the interior rim, one with the bottom of the cup intact, 12.7cm

Condition:
One cup has considerable sections of the bowl missing, as well as tears to the structure, two of which extend to the top of the rim. The other cup is generally complete with one section of damaged piercing extending to the rim. There is also a repair to the base of the bowl. Both cups have other minor faults, including some surface scratches and patination.
