An Edwardian embossed silver novelty trinket box, modelled as a dressing table with raised back, on cabriole legs, by William Comyns, the pierced and scroll raised back decorated with two figures in a landscape, with windmill beyond, London, 1902, width 15cm, gross weight 9.9oz.

Condition:
Lid doesn't quite close flush with the base. Some wear/fraying to the base of the velvet showing on the front of the piece. Base of back right leg is slightly bent outwards. Overall condition is otherwise good, commensurate with age and some use. Hallmarks on lid interior clear, but exterior hallmarks very rubbed.
