£700-1,000
Condition:
Looks to have a 19th century movement added to a George III case. Untouched for many years, case still in fair state of polish albeit with a few scattered small dents and knocks, ormolu mounts oxidised, front door with original lock but no key, original fabric inserts to the pierced panels now rather tatty, dial with silent / chime selector at the top, winding holes oddly placed through the chapter ring, a little oxidised and dirty, pierced brass side panels a little uneven, back door mesh pushed inwards with some cracking and small losses to veneer around edges, does have a working key for the lock, movement squeezed into the case, looks rather dirty and dusty but complete, not tested for timekeeping.
