Condition:
Overall of a rich dark blackish brown tone, with fair state of polish, a little more rubbed towards the front of each of the shelves. Carving looks a little stiff and shallow, and may well be later. Split running across the top of the mid shelf, splits and wear to the lower shelf as well as a break to the front left corner, at some point this has been cut through at the back stiles above the mid tier.
