A Chinese bamboo ‘boys and buffalo’ group, 18th/19th century, finely carved in high relief and openwork with two boys clambering on the back of the buffalo, the third boy attempting to climb up toward them, caramel brown patina, 19.5cm high, one buffalo leg lacking

Condition:
There are a few age splits to the back of the buffalo. The rear left shin and hoof of the buffalo has been broken off and re-glued. The front right leg of the buffalo is lacking below the knee is a small section of the third boys right big toe is missing, otherwise in reasonable condition.
