A 19th century Black Forest carved wood mantel timepiece, carved as a rocky mound with a fox looking down upon two pheasants, eight day movement stamped SF & JD, 30cm wide, 38cm high

Condition:
Overall in honest untouched condition, now with a very dark blackish brown colouring and a little dusty and dirty in the crevices, some small extremities broken away and missing most notably the beaks of both pheasants, movement looks complete but not tested, lacks a pendulum and has no key.
