Condition:
All four chairs at some point have been stripped of their original painted and probably gilt finish, old seperations in the joints showing to the frames but all but one remain fairly solid, one being rather loose in the joints, later squab cushions are removeable, caning is fair and has been painted gold at some point but is now faded to a rather soft tone, signs of old worming around some of the seat rails but nothing active noted, later reinforcements to the underframes.
