A 1790's French Directoire period brass mounted mahogany commode,
with veined white marble top over three frieze and three graduated long drawers, raised on toupie feet,

Condition:
Overall looks to be in good honest condition, mahogany is of a dark rich brown tone, perhaps a little lighter to the front than the sides, marble top may be the original, has a number of fine surface scuffs and scratches and some small chips particularly to the front left and right corners, ormolu mounts with a dull bronzed tone but all in good condition, locks look original and come with a variety of keys.
