Condition:
Small chip to the right tapering finial; plinth with rubs and scuffs particularly one front corner; small chip to trunk door at arch; heavily-weighted pendulum; with heavy brass-cased weights and winding crank; dial signed Wm. Thomas, Lincoln; dial with large patch of silvering rubbed between 6 and 7, clearly visible; suspension link to top of pendulum lacking so movement cannot be tested. Label attached to case interior explains the presence of a deadbeat escapement. Case not wormed.
