A George III Irish ivory handled pierced silver cake slice, Christopher Haines, Dublin, circa, 1790, 29.1cm, gross 4.5oz.

Condition:
Ivory handle a little loose in situ. Slice slightly bent in one place. Engraved crest with motto. Possible old repair just below the engraved motto?? Stress? crack appearing on the top and underside of silver mark area. Small nick to the silver at this point also. Split to the silver just to right of hallmarks. Possible repairs to tips of birds right and left wing?? and also half way along the left wing. Minor surface scratches to both sides. Marks clear, but some slight rubbing to the maker's mark. Piece seems quite solid.
