A possibly Roman oval intaglio emerald, mounted in an early Victorian gold, silver and diamond set oval pendant brooch,
the emerald carved with a satyr by a goat grazing on a tree and bordered by old round cut diamonds, 25mm, gross weight 5 grams, in fitted gilt tooled leather box.

Condition:
Some minor surface nicks to the top of the emerald in places. Small chip to the edge by the setting also. One of the diamonds has a small crack to the table facet.
