A pair of Louis XVI style mahogany fauteuils, with gadroon and floral scroll carved frames, later upholstered arms, backs and seats, on cabriole legs, W.2ft 6in. D.2ft 5in. H.3ft 6in.

These chairs look to date to the early to mid 20th century and have seen some restoration and re-upholstery some years ago, overall of an even dark brown mahogany colour, with some rubbing to the extremities, principally the tops of the arms and some light scuffing around the feet, front seat rails show a little variation in colour, frames solid.
