A 19th century French Empire style ormolu mantel clock, modelled with a classical musician standing beside an urn, the case decorated with angels and foliate scrolls, unsigned eight day silk suspension movement, height 19.25in.

Overall in somewhat neglected dirty condition, ormolu does have a good deep rich tone but as said is very dirty throughout with scattered spotting and light scuff marks, the main figure once had an instrument in his hands that is no longer present, top of urn may have had more to the finial, dial a little faded, movement looks to be complete but not tested, comes with a fine pendulum, associated key, the fixing for the bell at the back is loose.
