A fine pair of Chinese famille rose plates, Yongzheng period, each painted with two ladies in a rockwork garden with precious objects on a table and the ground within gilt arabesque and turquoise diaper pattern borders, 22.5cm diameter

Provenance - UK private collection, gifted to the vendor's late mother by her aunt before 1970.
Very slight wear to the enamels in the well where probably plates have been stacked inside each other, one plate with a small missing patch of turquoise enamel tot he border, otherwise in good condition with no restoration chips or cracks, one of the plates has a slight glaze fault to the underside.
