Three embroidered Chinese fan cases, one Kesi and woven with a tree, river and temple motifs, another with fine embroidered duck and lily motifs on fine gold gauze, the other black silk with multi-coloured central motif one side, the other side with a calligraphy panel

The gilt net embroidered fan case - the side stitching front and back of the fan are detached, the red silk lining to the top of the fan case is frayed. Some of the wire on the strap is missing and the gold mesh is tarnished in places. The fine petit point embroidery is in good condition. The Kesi fan case has staining all over with some small moth holes to one side of the fan case, the interior silk is faded slightly and damaged. The embroidered fan case - the black backing silk and embroidery in gold is in good condition. The cream silk side has staining near the bottom of the fan case.
