An early 20th century French Transitional style marquetry breakfront commode, with mottled serpentine marble top and three graduated long drawers, on cabriole legs with ornate ormolu laurel wreath handles and ormolu goat's head mounts, W.4ft D.1ft 7.5in. H.2ft 11.5in.

One or two small nicks to the marble top at the back left corner, good rich coffee brown colour to the body, top drawer has key with working lock, lower drawers have locking plate but no apparent mechanism to close them, ormolu feet a little oxidised.
