A fine large Regency giltwood and gesso convex wall mirror, with deeply carved ribbon tied laurel wreath frame and reeded ebonised slip, Diam.3ft 6in.

A splendid mirror in honest condition, untouched for many years. Original finish is now a little faded and oxidised and also very dirty. There are numerous small chips, cracks and losses to the gesso and a few areas where this has gone deep enough to have losses to the carved wood. Inner reeded slip frame has numerous cracks through it, glass plate is later.
Original glass which has some grey ghosting all over but gives a clear reflection.
