An Edwardian silver, mother of pearl and tortoiseshell chinoiserie inkstandish, retailed by Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co Ltd, with two pen rests, J. Batson & Son, London, 1908, with associated silver and tortoiseshell mounted glass well, Stokes & Ireland Ltd, Chester, 1904, 14cm
Condition: A couple of small chips to the underside edge of the tortoiseshell. Some surface crazing to the tortoiseshell on the top. Small chip to the glass on the associated well. Hallmarks clear, but with some rubbing to the maker's mark.
