Estimate £800-1,200

The figure detaches from the base, there are some old nicks and losses particularly to the fringes of the sleeves showing half way up the arms and further fringes of the robes most notably to the back left side where there is one small replacement piece of timber, the Greek key edging to the front of the robe shows one small replaced section lower left otherwise there is some chipping and a horizontal split running above the foot. head looks to have been carved from a separate piece of wood but is now firmly fixed to the body, base is in better condition and carved from a slightly harder timber, a little light wear at the extremities but overall the base is good.
