Lot 1058 , A pair of Chinese two colour carved lacquer vases and a Chinese yellow ground vase tallest 46cm
A pair of Chinese two colour carved lacquer vases and a Chinese yellow ground vase tallest 46cm
Estimate £50-70
Both lacquer vases have cracks to the lacquer at the base, one has one, the other four. The vase with four cracks at the rim also has a large chip to the lacquer at the top rim as well as an area of chips, scratches and cracks to the enamel as well as dents to the brass rim.
The yellow ground vase has heavy crazing visible to the yellow enamel, which has mis-fired and also has a piece missing. We believe the cinnabar lacquer vases are 20th century but the ground vase is modern
