Lot 246 , A Chinese burr huang huali weiqi (Go) piece bowl and cover, 18th century, 14cm diameter
A Chinese burr huang huali weiqi (Go) piece bowl and cover, 18th century, with a brass band around the middle, 14cm diameter
Estimate £100-150
There are natural faults in the burr, the lid has a small chip to the edge and the inner sleeve has a repair and some old filler around the area to one side and then the base of the bowl has a brass or paktong binding around it probably added as there was a split to the sleeve on this section also, otherwise it has a pleasing colour and patina.
