An early Victorian pierced silver sugar basket, by Joseph Angell I and Joseph Angell II, hallmarked London 1846, of cylindrical tapering form, with engraved decoration, cast swing handle and standing on a circular pierced circular foot, with blue glass liner, Height to handle 195mm, weight 8.7oz/272grams.

The engraved decoration is slightly worn, otherwise in good condition commensurate with age. Hallmarks clear but with some rubbing.
