A large gilt bronze two handled oval vase, moulded with continuous bacchanalian scene, on rectangular foot with inswept corners, height 14.75in.

The bowl has a double wall and the interior wall has a star shaped split near the border which has been repaired but this is not visible on the outer well of the exterior and on the opposing side there is a repair to a split on the exterior on the bacchanalian cherubs, there is sign of slight wear to the decoration all over possibly this has been polished, otherwise in reasonable condition.
