An ornate silver cream jug, with embossed foliate scroll decoration, engraved armorials and caryatid handle, on four lion mask and paw feet, London Assay Office hallmarks for 1998, height 4.5in, 14.5 oz.

The piece has two different engraved armorials. both of which are looking a little tired. Two of the feet have been pushed inwards up into the body and there is a dent to the base of one of the armorials and a small dent above this also. There is some minor wear to the raised part of the decoration in line with some age and use. No visible holes. Overall general condition is otherwise good. Later hallmarks clear.
