A 17th century oak mule chest, with foliate carved frieze, geometric panelled front and base drawer, W.3ft 4in. D.1ft 9in. H.2ft 5in.

Overall of good rich colour and honest condition, signs of old surface scratching and denting to the top along with a few more surface scratches and splash marks but nothing serious, top has the very slightest warp to the right side, carving to the frieze looks later, signs of fair wear and tear around the base commensurate with age, stile feet have almost certainly been cut down over the years but essentially a good honest piece of furniture
